Commercial Beverage Coolers

Buying Tips For Commercial Beverage Coolers

Commercial beverage coolers are little versions of refrigerators that only cool beverages to an ideal drinking temperature. Most homes that already house a decent sized refrigerator do not feel the need to purchase beverage coolers, but we think it is still a very good idea. How come? Because beverage coolers maintain an ideal temperature for the drinks you house in it. Therefore, you may choose to set it to a ideal temperature for white wines or red wines. Even sodas and fruit juices would always seem more refreshing when kept at an ideal drinking temperature. This is why, people who truly know their drinks, purchase beverage coolers.

So let’s say you are already sold on the idea of purchasing commercial beverage coolers. Which one should you purchase? Here are some tips to help you make that decision:

1.) To dispense or not:
Think about your preference towards having a dispenser as part of the actual cooler. If you will be purchasing your commercial beverage coolers for the purpose of storage for some wine, then a dispenser might not be necessary. If, however, you are purchasing the beverage cooler to house drinks like juice, iced tea, or even bottled water, it might be convenient to have a dispenser and simply fill it up to the brim instead of opening smaller bottles every time a member of the family wants some refreshments. Remember though that actually having a dispenser would definitely jack-up the price of the beverage cooler. If you truly want a dispenser but are not willing to throw away a huge wad of moolah, try and find some discount beverage coolers at second-hand shops.

2.) Temperature control: You might also want to know how cold the commercial beverage coolers can go. More importantly, you must check to see how many different temperatures it can maintain at a time. That is, does the beverage cooler have several compartments that may be set to different temperatures, or does it only have temperature control for the whole system. Why is this important? Because different beverages require different temperatures. This is especially true for wines as they come with recommended serving temperatures that bring out the best of the wines.

3.) Stand or Lay: Another thing to look at when purchasing commercial beverage coolers is if they allow for your beverages to stand up or lay on one side. This is important because some beverages (i.e. wines) have to be stored on their sides (to help moisten the cork and keep the pliable). If your beverages must be stored lying down, you might also want to consider purchasing beverage coolers that have built-ins toppers to avoid any accidents.
